Round 3 postponement and new calendar

Today is a big day for the Quebec’s karters. The long-awaited plan to gradually ease the restrictions will be presented at the end of the day by our Premier. Let’s hope that outdoor sports will get the green light in the first part of the plan.

We are already hearing the question: when will we have the modified calendar? Even if a date is set by the government today for the resumption of activities, it is likely that we will still have to wait for the precise rules by public health for the resumption of activities and submit our health plan against covid-19.

For the same reasons, we have to postpone the 3rd round which was scheduled for 6 June in St-Célestin to a later date.

Therefore, even if a resumption date for our activities is announced today, we will need some time before we can present you with the new 2021 calendar. The new calendar will be published as soon as possible, to there is no need to ask.

What you can do now, if you haven’t already done so, is to make sure you take the necessary steps to obtain your competition licence from Auto Sport Quebec, make sure your kart meets the 2021 technical regulations and read the 2021 sporting regulations which will be available later this week.
