Round 1: Are you ready? Check list

The first round of the 2023 Coupe de Montréal karting championship will take place in a little over a week. Are you ready? There is a lot to do before a race, especially the first one of the season. Take the time now to do everything that can be done in advance.

Here’s a little checklist to help you get through the first race with confidence.

1. Competition Licence

If you have not yet applied for your license with Auto Sport Quebec, hurry up! It is also with them that you must make your number reservation for your kart. For the procedure to obtain your license, it is HERE.

2. Registration
Don’t forget that the regular registration for round 1 ends on Wednesday April 26th at 10h00 am. After this deadline it will cost you an additional $75.00 to register and as of Friday April 28th at noon, it will no longer be possible to register. For the registration procedure, it is HERE.

3. Transponder Renewal
For those who have their own transponder and have a subscription model, make sure your subscription is still valid or your transponder will not work at the event. Check your Mylaps account.

4. Regulations 2023
Although regulations normally change little from year to year, there are always changes. Make sure you are aware of them. We draw your attention to the rules concerning helmets and racing suits. All the rules applicable to the Coupe de Montréal de karting are available HERE.
