The last round of the Coupe de Montréal and round # 5 of the Québec championship will take place this weekend on September 21-22 at the Académie de Karting Jim Russell in Mont-Tremblant. Practices and qualifyings will be on Saturday while prefinals and final races will take place on Sunday.
After the qualifying session on Saturday, you are invited for a hot dinner offered with the collaboration of La Maison du Rôti. A team tire changing contest (installation on the kart) will also take place during this evening to determine the best team work. Prizes will also be drawn randomly during the evening.
Prefinal and final races will be presented Sunday and followed by the event podiums and the championship podiums. Several prizes will also be drawn at the podium ceremony, including F2000 day at the Jim Russell race driving school and gift certificates for car tires from Groupe Touchette.
Don’t forget that regular online registration is open until Friday, September 20th at 5 pm. At the Coupe de Montréal, there is no paper registration form. After this deadline, you can register but you will have to pay a late registration fee. Dont’ wait until the last minute to register, especially if you plan to arrive early at the track on Saturday for your accreditation (on Friday night, we are relaxing to be in perfect shape for the big weekend ? )
For drivers registered before the deadline of Friday 5 pm, a tire marking/distribution will take place from 8h15 to 9h. See the details in the schedule included in the event supplementary regulations.
