After a long period of uncertainty, we are now able to publish the new 2020 Coupe de Montréal karting championship calendar. It will be a six round championship and will be held at the Saint-Célestin, Mirabel, Mont Saint-Hilaire and Mont-Tremblant racetracks. The first race will be held on Sunday, June 28th at ICAR Karting in Mirabel. This year, we will have a special end-of-season event on October 3rd at St-Célestin where the championship trophies will be presented.
A lot of work was done on the organizational side because of the health rules which must be followed and we will provide you with information (covid-19 rules, championship rules, special rules for events, etc.) as it becomes available. We ask you to be patient and be attentive to our publications. The best way to stay informed is to follow our Facebook page or visit our website very regularly. Many things will have to be done differently this year due to the pandemic and most importantly, many things will have to be done in advance and online.
For the moment, save these dates:
We ask drivers who plan to take part in the Coupe de Montréal karting competition to apply for their competition license as soon as possible to Auto Sport Québec (see news of March 10, 2020). This year,do not plan to fill out your license application at your first race, this will not be possible under any consideration.
